Human Body Explorer ("we", "our", "the app") is an educational anatomy game developed by DanWoz Soft. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Account data: When you create an account with email, we collect your email address to identify and authenticate the account, a chosen username, and a hashed password. When you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we collect the email address and profile name provided by that service and use the profile name as your username.
Game progress: Your XP, level, completed lessons, challenge attempts, and achievements are stored on our server to enable cross-session progress. We also keep the answers you select in quizzes for a limited time, solely to diagnose scoring problems.
Settings: Your language preference and display settings are stored with your account.
Identifiers: We assign an internal user ID to your account.
Support: If you contact in-app support, we store the ticket subject and message plus technical context needed to respond (app version, current screen, language, browser or device user-agent, and optional diagnostic context).

All data is stored on a secure server (Google Cloud Platform, EU region). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Communication uses HTTPS encryption.
The app offers Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple as optional login methods. Google and Apple process sign-in data under their own privacy policies. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
The service is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, do not create an account or use the service. Creating an account requires an email address, username, and password; we do not knowingly collect this data from children under 13.
You can delete your account in the app from Settings → Delete account. If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion at Account deletion or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your account data is permanently removed from our servers, except records we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud prevention reasons.

We process account data, progress, settings, class and leaderboard data because this is necessary to provide the service and perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We process support and limited security or anti-fraud information for our legitimate interests in assisting users, protecting the service, defending claims (Art. 6(1)(f)). We retain records only where necessary to comply with legal, tax or accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Account data, progress, settings, class data and support tickets are kept while the account exists and are deleted when the account is deleted. Other records are retained only for the period required by applicable law or until relevant claims expire.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis; this does not affect earlier processing. Contact us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or with the supervisory authority competent for your habitual residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.
We do not use personal data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
